Frequently asked questions
Everything you need is included: full safety equipment, neoprene wetsuit and boots, a certified English-speaking guide, and liability insurance. All you need to bring is a swimsuit, towel, and sunscreen.
April 1 – May 15: One daily departure at 12:00 noon.
May 15 – September 15: Two daily departures at 08:00 and 13:30.
September 15 – October 30: One daily departure at 12:00 noon.
All trips depart from the Malduk Adventures base in Omiš. Please arrive 15 minutes early for your safety briefing.
Split pickup times depend on your chosen departure:
🕖 08:00 trip — Split pickup at 07:30
🕛 12:00 trip — Split pickup at 11:00
🕐 13:30 trip — Split pickup at 12:30
Your exact pickup location in Split will be confirmed in your booking email. The transfer is door-to-door from Split city centre or Split Airport.
Basic swimming ability is recommended but not strictly required. You will be wearing a life jacket at all times during the raft. Our guides are trained in water safety and rescue, so you are in good hands throughout the experience.
Free cancellation up to 48 hours before your trip — you'll receive a full refund, no questions asked. Cancellations within 48 hours of departure are non-refundable. In the event of extreme weather that makes the river unsafe, we will offer you a full refund or a free reschedule.
Omiš is about 25 km southeast of Split — roughly 30 minutes by car. You can drive, take a local bus from Split bus station, or book our Split Transfer add-on during checkout for a hassle-free door-to-door pickup and drop-off.
Participants must be at least 16 years old. The Cetina rafting route is classed as Grade II–III rapids, which makes it exciting but manageable — perfect for adventurous teenagers and adults. There is no upper age limit, but participants should be in reasonable physical health.
If you chose the 10% deposit option, the remaining balance is due 7 days before your trip. We will send you a payment reminder by email. You can pay the balance via PayPal or bank transfer — just reply to the reminder email and we'll sort it out.
