The official meeting point is at Trgovačka ul., 21255 Zadvarje, Croatia. Coordinates: 43.4326911 N, 16.8908709 E. GPS coordinates are also sent with your booking confirmation.

Zadvarje is approximately 35km from Split — about 40 minutes via the A1 motorway (exit Šestanovac), then through Zadvarje. From Makarska it's around 30 minutes.

Our team will direct you to free parking nearby. Once you've parked, your guide will provide equipment and take you to the canyon starting point. You'll spot our team immediately — guides wear white or blue T-shirts with "Malduk Adventures" on the back.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled departure time. If you're running late, call or WhatsApp us so we can hold your place.

Prepare for an unforgettable 4-hour canyon adventure. The tour takes you through the hidden natural wonders of Cetina Canyon, where towering rocky landscapes reach heights of up to 10 metres. Led by experienced, certified guides, you'll navigate the canyon by hiking, swimming in crystal-clear natural pools, scrambling over rocks, and taking on optional cliff jumps.

The canyon route is 2.1km long, with approximately 2–2.5 hours of active time in the canyon itself. Before you enter the water, your guide provides a complete safety briefing and fits all equipment. No experience is required — this tour is a genuine first-timer's canyon experience.

Please remember to bring: swimsuit, towel and dry clothes, solid closed-toe shoes (or rent canyoning shoes on-site for €7). Leave valuables in your car.

Peak season: 15 May – 15 September (two daily departures). Pre/post-season: April–14 May and 16 September–30 October (single 12:00 departure).

Physical requirements: Beginner level. Moderate fitness recommended — expect hiking, swimming, and rock scrambling. Minimum age: 8 years. Basic swimming ability recommended (lifejacket provided). Malduk Adventures reserves the right to assess fitness before the tour for safety reasons.

Please bring:

Timing: Arrive at least 15 minutes before your departure. If running late, call or message us immediately. Late arrivals may be considered a no-show — no refund issued for no-shows.

Equipment: All equipment is EU-registered and certified. All guides hold valid Croatian canyoning and first-aid certifications.

Cancellation: Free cancellation up to 48 hours before your tour. Malduk Adventures may cancel tours at short notice due to weather or river conditions. You will receive a full refund or reschedule option if this occurs.

Everything you need to know before booking your canyoning tour near Split.

Yes. The Basic Canyoning tour is specifically designed for first-timers with no prior experience. The route involves hiking, swimming, scrambling, and optional cliff jumping (up to 3m — never compulsory). A certified guide leads every group and provides a full safety briefing before entering the canyon.
The departure point at Zadvarje is approximately 35km from Split — around 40 minutes by car via the A1 motorway (exit Šestanovac). Organised transfers from Split, Omiš, and Makarska are available daily and can be added at checkout. Transfer duration is approximately 30 minutes one-way.

Basic swimming ability is recommended, as the canyon route includes swimming through natural pools. You will be wearing a lifejacket throughout the entire tour, which provides buoyancy and safety in the water.
The Basic Canyoning tour is open to participants from age 8 and up. Cliff jumps are always optional — no one is ever required to jump. All participants wear EU-certified lifejackets and helmets, and tours are led by fully licensed and certified guides. It's one of our most popular tours for families.
The Basic Canyoning tour (€50) is for beginners and families — hiking, swimming, scrambling, and optional jumps up to 3m. No abseiling. The Extreme Canyoning tour (€70) includes technical rappelling (abseiling) down 60m and 25m cliffs, plus higher jumps of 5m, 7m, and 9m. No prior experience is required for either, but extreme canyoning is best suited to those comfortable with heights and a strong adrenaline challenge.
Wear a swimsuit under your clothes. Bring a towel, dry clothes for after the tour, and solid closed-toe shoes (trainers or sneakers — or rent canyoning shoes on-site for €7). Leave valuables in your car. Sunscreen is recommended for the drive and walk to the canyon entrance.
The season runs April to October. Late spring (May–June) offers cooler air temperatures and lush green canyon scenery. July and August are peak season with the warmest conditions. September and early October are excellent for smaller, quieter groups. The canyon water stays cool year-round — your wetsuit is provided whatever the month.
