Day Tours — Cancellation Terms
The following policy applies to all single-day activities: rafting, canyoning, extreme canyoning, kayaking & snorkelling, and any other day tour.

Multi-Day Packages — Cancellation Terms
The following policy applies to our 5-Day and 7-Day multi-day adventure packages, where a deposit of €100 per person is required at booking and full payment is due 30 days before the trip start date.

Cancellations by Malduk Adventures
In the rare event that we need to cancel your tour or package, we will notify you as early as possible and offer the following options:
- Full refund — a complete refund of all payments made, including any deposit
- Alternative date — reschedule your booking to a date that works for you, subject to availability
- Alternative activity — swap to a different tour of equivalent or lesser value, with any price difference refunded
Reasons we may cancel include: severe weather, unsafe river conditions, insufficient participant numbers (minimum 2 people required for most tours), force majeure events, or other safety concerns at our guides' discretion.
Weather & Safety Cancellations
Adventure activities are inherently dependent on weather and natural conditions. Our guides monitor the Cetina River, weather forecasts, and canyon conditions daily throughout the season.
- If conditions are deemed unsafe on the day of your tour, we will cancel and offer a full refund or reschedule at no extra cost
- We reserve the right to cancel or modify tours at any time — including on the morning of the activity — if our guides judge that proceeding would pose a risk to participant safety
- Light rain does not typically result in cancellation — we operate in most weather conditions. Heavy rain, flash floods, or high river levels do
- If a tour is shortened or modified on safety grounds, a partial refund may be offered at our discretion
No-Shows
If you fail to appear at the meeting point at the agreed time and have not notified us in advance, this is treated as a no-show.
- No-shows are non-refundable for both day tours and multi-day packages
- If you are running late, please contact us immediately — we will do our best to accommodate you if the tour has not yet departed
- If the delay is beyond your control (e.g. transport disruption), contact us as soon as possible and we will consider the circumstances
Rescheduling Your Booking
We understand that travel plans change. We are happy to reschedule your booking subject to the following conditions:
- Rescheduling requests must be made by email or WhatsApp at least 48 hours before the original tour date for day tours, and 15 days before for multi-day packages
- We will reschedule to any available date within the same operating season at no charge, subject to availability
- Rescheduling within the non-refundable window (less than 48 hours for day tours, less than 15 days for packages) is at our discretion and cannot be guaranteed
- Each booking may be rescheduled once without charge; subsequent changes may incur an administration fee
Group Bookings
For group bookings of 8 or more participants, the following additional conditions apply:
- A non-refundable group deposit of €150 is required to hold the reservation
- Full payment is required 45 days before the activity date (rather than 30 days)
- Partial cancellations — where some members of the group cancel but others proceed — are refunded on a per-person basis according to the standard policy
- If the group falls below the agreed minimum size, we reserve the right to apply a small-group surcharge or offer a reschedule
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all participants purchase comprehensive travel insurance before booking with us. A good policy should cover:
- Cancellation and curtailment — including cancellation due to illness, injury, or unforeseen circumstances
- Adventure and activity sports — ensure your policy explicitly covers rafting, canyoning, and kayaking
- Medical emergencies and evacuation — including helicopter rescue if required
- Personal liability
- Travel delays and missed connections
How to Cancel or Reschedule
To cancel or reschedule a booking, please contact us using one of the methods below. All cancellation requests must be confirmed in writing (email or WhatsApp message) to be valid — phone calls alone are not sufficient.

- We will acknowledge your cancellation request within 24 hours and confirm the applicable refund or credit
- Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method
