Frequently asked questions

From €850 per person, B&B, sharing a Classic double or twin at the 4★ Hotel Plaža. The price follows the hotel's season: €850 on 3, 10 and 17 April and 23 October; €885 on 24 April, 1 May and 2, 9 and 16 October; €945 on 25 September; €1,030 on 18 September. Half board is always €95 more. Every price includes five nights, four guided excursion days, all transfers and Plitvice and Krka entrance fees. Single occupancy from €120 per person for the five nights.

Plitvice Lakes, a UNESCO World Heritage site with sixteen terraced lakes linked by waterfalls, and Krka, where the river drops over the travertine steps of Skradinski Buk. Entrance fees to both and the drive each way are included.

Both. Two days are spent walking park trails and boardwalks, one is a proper guided mountain hike on the Omiška Dinara ridge above Omiš, and one is cultural: Klis Fortress, Roman Salona and free time in Split.

Activity level 2–3 out of 5. The park days are easy underfoot but long. Omiška Dinara is the demanding day: a steady climb on rocky limestone, moderate to hard. If you can walk comfortably for four hours, you will be fine. No hiking experience is needed.

Plitvice is about three hours each way, so that day starts early. Krka is about an hour and a half. Klis and Salona are around forty minutes. All driving is in our vehicle, with your guide.

All five nights at the family-run 4★ Hotel Plaža on Trg kralja Tomislava in Omiš, a minute from the beach and the old town. A Classic double or twin is included; Superior and Premium rooms and single occupancy are available for a supplement. The city tourist tax is paid at the hotel.

Half board adds dinner at the hotel on all five evenings for €95 more per person — about €19 a night. On B&B your evenings are free and you eat in Omiš, where dinner runs roughly €20–€30 a head.

Only in four windows: April, the first week of May, the second half of September and October. The parks are green and quiet and the ridge above Omiš is cool enough to climb. We don't run it in midsummer, when the limestone is hot and the boardwalks are crowded.

Guaranteed from 5 guests, capped at 8. Below five, the same week can run as a private trip, quoted separately. Children are welcome from age 10 with a parent or guardian; under-12s sharing a room with two adults get a reduced rate.

Split Airport (SPU), about an hour from Omiš. Zadar (140 km) and Dubrovnik (230 km) also work but are further. Transfers from our Split meeting point are included; airport transfers are not, but we can arrange one.
